Update on the Mike Turtur Bikeway upgrade

Consultation ended some weeks ago and is being considered by the Council and DIPTI. The Unley BUG was supportive of the upgrade to this important Adelaide cycling route however we had some concerns on the design that would result in the loss of significant trees . The Unley BUG wrote to Minister Knoll outlining our position (see copy) and also to sent these letters to local member Minister Pisoni, Unley Council and DPTI and are hopeful design changes will be made that will improve this important cycling infrastructure.
